Specific Need

The Courtland Arts Council needs support to continue and expand its role as a creative hub for the residents of Courtland and surrounding areas. Funding will help sustain and grow arts programming, classes, and community events that celebrate local talent and bring people together through artistic expression. Support is needed to maintain the facility, offer affordable arts experiences, and develop new opportunities for visual and performing arts that might otherwise be unavailable in a small rural community. By investing in this organization, donors help ensure the arts remain a vibrant part of Courtland’s cultural life and accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Mission

The Courtland Arts Council was formed in the Courtland Community to provide arts education, events, and performances of national and regional interest to both our local citizens and people from the surrounding counties and states. The Courtland Arts Council’s purpose is to provide an extensive calendar of noteworthy exhibitions, performances, and events and thereby strengthen Courtland’s tourism attraction base and have a positive impact on the local economy through the cultivation of the arts.

In the small town of Courtland, Kansas, the Courtland Community Arts Council proves that creativity can thrive anywhere.
